Since the first Young Green’s 10:1 report was launched in 2013, conditions for university staff and students are constantly being chipped away. Tuition fees continue to rise, Vice Chancellor’s salaries have increased to eye watering amounts; and now university staff across the country are threatened with an overhaul of their pensions that could leave staff £200,000 worse off in retirement. This could not be a better time for the Young Greens to relaunch their 10:1 report.
We stand in solidarity with the QMU Occupation, as well as all other UCU strikers and those affected by the proposed cuts.
