Get Organised!

Trade Unions are important for better pay, support and solidarity. We're encouraging Young Greens to join them.

In September 2014, The Young Greens launched the GET ORGANISED! Campaign. This campaign is aimed at getting our Young Green Groups working with Trade Unions locally and most importantly, getting young people to join Trade Unions.

Over the last few years, the Young Greens have been organising action weeks, events and projects to get young people organised and unionised in a time when being young and in work has never been so hard.

The TUC works to promote union membership amongst young workers and campaigns for better pay, employment rights and employment opportunities for young people. The Young Greens support this campaign and encourage members to get involved with their Union and TUC events around the country.
