You may recall that during our campaign for co-chair, we mentioned that we wanted Young Greens to engage more with our local communities and the wider movement. As co-chairs, this is why we’re delighted to announce our first community event, which we hope will be the first in a series of community events across England and Wales.
The event will be in Hackney, The Bath House, 80 Eastway, London E9 5JH. Sunday 6th September, 3–7pm.
We’ll be hosting:
- stalls from local groups (London Renters Union, ACORN and more TBA)
- a zine & poster workshop for all ages
- free snacks and drinks
- a clothes bank (drop & collect)
- live music from 6pm (Orchestrated Discontent)
The event is free of charge, you don’t have to register, and all ages are welcome, although under 16s must be chaperoned. For those under-18 please fill out this form.
